I made a cup of freshly ground Ethiopian Sidamo coffee and it tasted GREAT. I knew it was time for a cleaning round; we all know when it's time, it's just that six to seven cycles of the coffee maker does take some commitment to the process. I had a project going on at the same time that allowed me to check on it and keep the steps going, but keep that in mind -- it's an EASY process, but can be time consuming. I thought I wanted to try a more advanced descaler and cleaner. All I can say is wow. The amount of junk that came out of my Moccamaster was disgusting. The scaler product worked well and there was some buildup in the pot. But the cleaner portion feels like magic. So much gunk came out that I'm in shock. This product is well worth it and I have never seen my machine so clean or any other product that had so much stuff come out.
