I can't imagine someone needed portion control containers to gain weight. LOL, but the tape could also help measure your muscle growth. Anyway... I wanted to get containers that would help me portion out the amount of food I take for lunch because I don't always have the time to measure or weigh my food. I came across these containers and thought this would be a good choice. I still think it is, but I believe the manufacturer needs to work on the relationship between the lids and the containers. The first time I used them I had food spill all over my lunch box. I thought it was my mistake, so the second time, I really tried to put it on correctly only to find that it was difficult to open and when I finally did get it open, I opened it to hard and my food fell out. So be aware if you are going to take food with sauces. This is the second set I get with similar issues.
