The first kit i bought had no tapers just the tunnels. Being new to gauging I didn’t know I needed the tapers. I bought another kit but they ALWAYS go from 2 gauge to 0 gauge then 00. Those are all 2 mm jumps and that’s ALOT to go in one shot. So I got this kit and I plan to get the 9mm kit also. But it was a much easier move to 7mm from 6mm (2 gauge). The ONLY complaint I have it the threads. The outer threads on these tunnels will rip ur ears to shreds. I don’t like solid plugs I love these so I just lubed up and kept pushing but it wasn’t pleasant. If they could put the threads on the inside of the tunnel this would be a 5 star ⭐️ no question. Still would recommend just be careful with the threads.***update! Original review was for 7mm I went to 0 gauge (8mm) with very little issue. The taper was a little tough to get in but after 1 day my ears were fine. No swelling throbbing nothing. I left those for a week and had 0 pain no blood etc. I just did the 9mm and OH MY GOD this was by far the worst size up yet. Soooo painful pushing these threads thru my ear. I will NEVER buy external threads again if I continue passed 00 as I plan to. One more size up and I’m done! But I’m getting internal threaded tunnels for that jump. I have no clue how people go from 6mm to 8mm then 10mm. The 2mm jump has to be horrific. These help bridge that gap but still THE TREADS!
