The balloon itself is almost as thick as a beach ball. Not a typical latex balloon. They can be inflated with either helium or air.You wrap the lights around the exterior of the balloon making them super bright rather than a diluted light trying to shine through the balloon. I plan on using them as a topper on smaller table top balloon columns.
