There are absolutely no instructions!!! How to calibrate? Figure it out yourself. This product needs to be removed from desertcart until it is accurately described. Review: NOT A STAND ALONE DEVICE - I bought 2 because I know of gardeners who find these very effective. However, the desertcart ad wasn’t remotely clear that it IS NOT A STAND ALONE DEVICE, and additional hose tubing, reservoir etc is needed to function at additional cost. Apparently this company makes stand alone watering devices but not for display bonsais-a plastic bottle or bowl nearby is required. Moral?
