I am covering the keyhole with tap so nothing falls in the lock area. I always advise have one safe easy to find with crap in it then a second safe better hidden with the important items.

Good lockbox. Just make sure you polish the metal burrs that reside on the keys before you insert them into the lock. Some have complained that the keys didn't work and I can see why that could happen. The metal flakes that were hanging from both my keys could easily foul the lock. The keys have a plated surface that chipped badly during the cutting process and never saw a wire brush. If you want perfection spend hundreds of dollars more. The lockbox is good temporary storage for valuables.
