I was not sure what to make of them when they arrived as I'm use to the old school jumbo padded models, ha ha. These are great! I love not ripping the cords out of my ears anymore! The rubbery feel of the frame is cool. Just wish they had a little stuff sack but oh well. I also had to be careful taking them on and off as they love to wrap my long hair around the speakers. The touch sensitive buttons work great, just have to be careful when trying to pause music, if you don't hit the button dead center, you can forward to next song, or turn volume up or down. As far as the sound, you have to try them to know, as everyone has different opinions and taste in sound. For me these are great for at work, loud enough to drown out noisy mouths and I don't have to crank the volume all the way up. The sound works for me as well, from classic rock to alternative I can't complain at all as they are much better than I expected them to be. I get a good thumping bass on my tunes from my ipod touch 4G. Just changed the EQ options on ipod. I'm very happy with this purchase as I listen to my tunes daily at home and work. As far as for phone use, I didn't buy them for that luckily as these are horrible for phone use. Voices are not only muted but muddled, and not clear at all they would only score 1 star for that use as you can hear/talk on them but I don't recommend it. My small LG earpiece does the trick. For music 5 stars for bluetooth, sound and controls & ease of use.Sound is great for this price/style package, if you want better be able to shell out big bucks, especially for bluetooth. I looked at all options on Amazon before purchasing these, trying to get the most for my money, another pair for $25.00 is also great but for people with short hair as they wrap around the back of your head is-- Kinivo BTH220 Bluetooth Stereo Headphone - Supports Wireless Music Streaming and Hands-Free calling, the sound is impressive. They are convenient, easy to find, and they connect well with my iPhone, ipad, and MacBook Pro. They work well for music practice with a recording because you can hear the music and yourself. The only annoying thing about them is the bluetooth light that flashes constantly - sometimes an issue at night.Update: Changed my review from 5 to 4 (considered going down to 3) because of two issues I have that seem contradictory, but aren't:1. They respond to touch too easily: I don't know how many times I've brushed my head lightly against something or touched my hair, and the headphones have skipped ahead or behind to the beginning of a chapter of a book or a new program so that I've lost my place. The forward and back controls are really easy to touch by mistake, even when you barely brush the headphones.2. They don't respond to my touch: lately, it's rare that I'm able to pause my listening by pressing the middle button. It worked more often when I first used the headphones, but now it rarely works at all. If I persist in trying to pause the device by hitting it multiple times when it's not responding, it usually results in moving me to the beginning of a chapter or new program. It paired to my macbook pro in 5 seconds. when I tried, audio was good (not great- but expected because of the price), I tried to advance the track (itunes), move the volume up and down, but my laptop won't respond. I took it out of my head and tried to turn it off (Yes, I read and follow the instruction that comes with it), but it won't turn off either, instead, it forwards the track when I press and hold the middle of the multi function button for 3-5 seconds (instruction to turn it off).I tried to pair it with my HTC Evo 3d, but it won't go to pairing mode.
