After over 30 years of using I decided to buy a new one as previous one at last started to losing its sharpness. And believe me I am frequent user as my family always have fresh vegetables for diner and with this slicer its really easy to prepare everything in a minute. Cabbage, carrot, parsnip, tomato and potato are easy to dice or slice doesn't matter how tough they are.
