It is not a latch **Q: Can you please list the items included in the kit?** A: Exactly no it’s been awhile. It had all the brackets and fasteners to install on a chain link gate. It only took about ten minutes to install. If I remember the brackets would accommodate two size of metal tubing on chain link gates. A joke for keeping anything safe *by S***T on August 27, 2022* We were under the impression this would be metal but were very disappointed that it was cheap plastic. We bought this thi king it would be a good solution to a very smart german shepherd who knows how to open the gate. This was cheap plastic unfit to keep a dog or a child safe. The bar is sold separately so we couldnt have used it if we wanted.
