Do your self a favor and spend a few dollars more as the right tool that will last is the best value for your money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent quality tool *by F***. on February 19, 2024* I bought this 48" skimmer because I had a large uneven drywall area to fill, and I felt that I would rather fill with mud than pull down the sheetrock. I needed it narrower and used a belt sander to narrow it to about 46" to fit into a diagonal wall in a gabled area, and the blade did not bend or warp. I probably should have used a board as a screed, because this is not exactly what the skimmer's purpose is. It took a few passes to get the mud up to the level I needed. But it worked perfectly when I got to the skim stage on that wall. This wall unfortunately is flatter than the wall I did not have to skim. But the paint texture seemed to hide all the joints anyway. No rust after washing this tool. It worked awesome.
