It is a good idea to buy two so you won't have to wait for one shoe to finish stretching especially if you need to wear the shoes for an upcoming occasion. This is not expensive so buying 2 is worth it and the quality of the product is absolutely worth the buy! The only draw back is that the company took longer to ship the product than I anticipated and I then realized I needed the shoe stretch spray for the best results. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Women's High Heel Stretcher - Medium (6.5-8) 1-Shoe Stretcher *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2013* I bought this stretcher to stretch the toe box of a pair of Frye Harness boots, women's size 8. It's a cowboy-style square-toed boot made the Frye way - thick, rich leather that is very heavy. The boots cost anywhere between $275-$300, and I got them at a thrift store barely used for $14.75, so I ain't letting these go for anything lol. They KILLED my feet the first time I wore them, as the toe box is VERY squared off and stiff, and does not give in to human toes(maybe that's why they were let go by the previous owner). I thought they were steel toe boots.I chose this stretcher because it's pointed at the end and I thought I could squeeze the toe of the stretcher forward into the boot. That metal screw-in handle does not bend or flex, but that was ok in this case for the boots because the shaft of the boot is not stiff but very "scrunchable."I was able to work the stretcher way down to the toe of the boot fairly easily. I put no shoe stretcher spray in the boot, just the tool itself (I didn't use the bunion attachment). I screwed it open to stretch the boot and put it back in the closet.This morning, I tried on both boots. I could definitely feel the difference. The right boot (the one I stretched) was noticeably wider in the toe box area! The outside and top of my last 3 toes on my right foot are no longer at the mercy of that tight little box. I wish I had purchased 2 of these. I think I will get some shoe stretcher spray and continue work with these boots. I know this was made for high heeled shoes but it's pointy enough to get "in there" on boots (make sure the shaft/calf area of the boot can be scrunched down, if not you may want to go with a traditional boot stretcher. Once again, that metal "screwy" part DOES NOT BEND. It's a thick azz big screw. Good luck to all.**UPDATE 1/6/14** The boots are feeling NICE!! I've been wearing them all weekend and I have them on now at work. I actually want to wear them everyday!! I used the bunion attachment after the initial stretch on both boots. They have been sitting in the closet being alternately stretched every day for about a week and a half (to be honest, I was afraid to wear them). I wore them out and about this past Saturday and Sunday and NO ISSUES....no outside of toes on fire, no bunion screaming for relief, etc....I just added an extra star because i'm so impressed. I bought a pair of shoe trees to keep the boot in the stretched shape, and went to work on a pair of 70's style shoes that are narrow. Stretched those out nicely as well! I used the stretch spray. I kept them in overnight. They jammed. I had trouble getting them out of my shoes because they jammed. Thank goodness I did get them out, that would have ruined it for me for my daughter's wedding.
