     from my motorhome's 12-volt DC outlet.  My radio came with a power supply that plugs into 120 VAC, but being able to power this radio from my RV coach battery is especially convenient when we are on the road or while dry camping.My addition was a

     which I soldered directly to the pigtail leads of this Buck Converter after first removing the wires that came connected to the plug.  I then replaced the 3mm DC connector on the other end with a 4mm DC connector

     so it would connect to my radio.  It also required some tedious soldering with a small pencil soldering iron.As you can see from the photo, this arrangement with my modifications provides a convenient, compact way to use an alternative power supply in a neat-looking package.  The total cost for everything via Amazon Prime was $21.97.

    Works fine for Foscam cameras

Works as intended.  Fits and powers Foscam cameras without issue -- great way to remotely locate a camera using a 12V power source.  5V section of cable is 12" long, electronics box is 2" long, and the 12V section of the wire is 9'3" to end of the jacket, and the red&blk wires are about 6" long past that.  Received product matches the photographs.  Powering a Foscam FI8910 in daylight, w/o wired network, idle power consumption is: 175mA@10V, 150mA@12V, 130mA@14V, 115mA@16V.  At 12V, the max current during panning (2-axis) was 430mA.
