It quickly (25-35 minutes) whips up a quart of your favorite ice cream or sorbet. While the instruction manual is short on detail, the operation is pretty easy and intuitive. The noise level is moderate, but by the time your ice cream is finished, you welcome the silence when it stops churning. Cleaning is easy and quick, but you need to be sure you clean the top rim where the motor housing connects to the machine body. There are electrical motor contacts there that need to be very clean for the motor to run when the top is closed. The time you need before starting another batch is minimal. I’ve found that the time you use to empty your current run is sufficient to begin running a new batch. I’ve run 4 consecutive batches, giving me a full gallon of ice cream, with no problems of stress or overheating the motor. When you compare this machine to others that run well over $200 or to those that require you to freeze a container for 24 hours before you begin making ice cream, this quality, economical ice cream maker is a sure winner.Update 07/12/2022I’m still enjoying this great little machine. I have used it to make a LOT of ice cream & sorbet. I love NOT having to freeze a bowl before I start making my ice cream. I usually run up to 10-12 batches, back to back. It has never once overheated.
