And Amazon was no help and USA Pan was even worse..more or less told me to go away. But I see from your reply that I should have complained that it was different from description. Sad..I have at least six older USA pans that I love but something is amiss at that company, I think. I guess if you don't clean your oven every time before using these pans, grease from the floor and walls of the oven manage to get on the bottom of the pan. Because of the grooves in these pans, it is impossible to get it off. Scenario: fish filets. No need to grease pan or use foil. Those babies were golden brown and crispy, no sog whatsoever. They slid across the pan when I first put a spatula to one of them, because I thought I was going to need to scrape them off the pan. Nope. Cleanup is a breeze: wipe any oil off the pan and wash with dish soap. Bacon will take a couple of passes, but same result: a pristine pan. By the way, this is the perfect pan to cook bacon in, as the lip is high enough there won't be splashover.
