Just painted it on and left it over night. Applied a second coat the next day. No more leak. A huge leak appears around one of the windows after 19 years so I taped off around inside the window about a 1/4 inch in and applied the rubber sealer with paint brush on that 1/4 inch to the sunroom window frame and the leak stopped. A week later we had a 1 1/2 very hard rain and inside sunroom stayed dry. It painted on easily, had the lid off for 1/2 hour while using it and no dry ups in or around the can. It stuck to window and metal sunroom easily. It is thick enough to not cause run off as my sun room roof does tilt down. Or do the fumes subside quickly?** A: If I recall the smell was strong enough to overcome my smelling issues. I would say use well ventilated. **Q: Can it be applied to wet surfaces?** A: I did not apply to a wet surface but after applying to dry surface and after rain it turmed white in places **Q: Does this product work on inflatable water tubes?** A: I’m planning to use it for that exact purpose. It’s heavier so depending on use, may weigh it down. For yard inflatables with fans blowing up the item, I’d do the spray. For an inflatable like a kids punching bag, I’m planning on painting this to limit / prevent the inevitable leaks. The spray will be lighter than paint on, if that helps. Great product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fast seal, clear finish! *by E***A on September 13, 2024* This is definitely a great product for weatherproofing and sealing almost any surface! Ready to use right off the can: just pour or apply with a brush and it dries into a clear hard (a little rubbery) finish in about one hour. It can even be applied in moist surfaces as it displaces water drops while being applied. However dry clean surfaces have a better finish result. The downside is that the contents start to solidify as soon as it comes in contact with air. Meaning, once you open that can some of the product will turn into a trasnparent gel. This will result in some product loss even if you try to seal tightly.
