The brass friction knob is smooth as butter, and gives you a remarkably wide and precise range of ajustment. Everything about this feels tight, precise, and ergonomic. The included comb is a joke - I think these were meant to ship with barbie dolls, the teeth are way too tightly spaced to use on facial hair. But who cares, you're buying the scissors for the scissors, and they're fantastic. Review: I bought this pair for my son as he has reached adulthood. I have a pair I have used for years, not sure how many but more than 5. Mine are still in great condition and still very sharp.
