It will keep any screw or bolt from loosening, but you can get the bolt/screw out with a screwdriver and just brush off the Loctite. Make sure you only apply a very little bit. More is not better. **Q: how do I open the sealed tube? do I just poke a hole at the top?** A: I think it's best to use a thumbtack, safety pin, etc. to poke a hole into the flat tip. This will give you "droplet-sized control" in application. **Q: can this be used in glasses? The screws that hold the lenses in place?** A: No, it is designed for larger screws.
