**Q: how many deciples?**
A: I too like the answer given. But, to finish the answer: there were 12 of them. I hope to walk a mile on a dusty road with Paul some day.

**Q: how long is the cable?**
A: The cable between the speakers is too short, only 46", the speakers don't even fit outside of my 2 monitors, I have to return them.

**Q: which is the left and right speaker?**
A: The left speaker always gives me false information. The right speaker always gives me correct info and sounds that I ask for. (Joke).
The right speaker has the volume knob and the VERY BRIGHT blue LED.

**Q: The description states "usb powered" but i noticed most questions on this state they are ac/plug-in powered. which is it?**
A: The description on this item does not state "USB powered", it states "AC Powered". It is AC powered (via regular power cord, transformer is within speaker not on cord) and that is why it has adequate amplification. The USB powered speakers I had bought previously were no louder than the built in speakers. These ARE much louder than the built in speakers. Note, it connects to the Laptop via a stereo 3.5 mil plug.

Decent, affordable speakers! I bought these for my gaming pc as an initial speaker, intending to buy better ones when I had more money. They're good little speakers, the sound is nice and they're compact and look nice with my set up. A downside is they're a little noisy, lots of background buzzing. I got used to it though, it may be hard for some to get past this. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting them as a nice placeholder!! Get the job done.
