A: No, it has a gelifier in it so it would be thick before it goes through machine.

**Q: Is this soft serve vanilla ice cream mix?**
A: This product is a stabilizer that produces a creamy and tasty gelato.

**Q: what is the difference between cold-100 and cold-50 are both for cream base????**
A: Good Morning.  Both Gelpans are milk based with the mixing ratios right on the package.  Cold 50 has more stabilizers and emulsifiers than Cold 100. If you would like a water based please use Gelmix  (ASIN B013XBJE7M).

**Q: Once mixed and cooled, can this be put into a home compressor ice cream maker?  Thank you.**
A: I use it my home gelato machine that has a compressor, with the given ratio or somewhat proportionately less.
