If you wash it right after use and use the brush/stick to avoid getting your fingers near the blade, you should be fine. In addition to the little brush, I use a soaped-up sponge and hot, running water rather than putting it in a dishpan. **Q: does it come with the plunger?** A: Yes it comes all assembled **Q: What is the differece between the aqua one(39.95) and other colors (49.95), besides the color?** A: Starfrit makes this in green, sold by Walmart, Wayfair, and others... Called Pump'N'Slice, you can google it and get many options. The price is normally $39.99. ## Frequently Bought Together - DASH Safe Slice® Mandoline Slicer, Julienne + Dicer for Vegetables, Meal Prep & More with 30+ Presets & Thickness Adjuster - Grey - Alpha Grillers Meat Thermometer Digital - Instant Read Food Thermometer for Cooking Grilling Air Fryer Griddle Probe Kitchen Gadgets Essentials BBQ Accessories Grill Gifts for Men Him Dad Birthday - Immersion Blender Handheld Hand Blender 1100W, Trigger Variable Speed 5 in 1 Stick Blender, Emulsion Blender with Chopper, Whisk and Frother for Soup, Baby Food and Smoothies --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pl/products/297767378-safe-slice-mandoline-slicer-julienne-dicer-for-vegetables-meal-prep](https://www.desertcart.pl/products/297767378-safe-slice-mandoline-slicer-julienne-dicer-for-vegetables-meal-prep) --- *Product available on Desertcart Poland* *Store origin: PL* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
