I got the copper/green micarta version. I found zero flaws out of the box (which is pretty rare). Fit and finish is excellent, blade is centered and evenly ground, ergonomics are good, action is GREAT (drops shut) and it's just a really good-looking knife. It doesn't have the obnoxious jimping on the liner lock (to which there's plenty of access), has an inset deep-carry pocket clip which screws on from inside the liner, and has comfortable dual thumb studs. In fact, I like it so much that I'm considering getting a second one. I would highly recommend this one. You won't be disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ my favorite EDC *by D***N on October 7, 2021* The media could not be loaded. Kizer Deviant is high quality EDC, one handed open and close is easy after a ~500 open and close break in period. Fun for fidgeting open and close. Feels like an assisted open knife due to the precise detent so satisfying vs a similar Civivi like knife with less positive opening action. It will make your fingers smell like old pennies. The copper dulls to a dark brown after a few days of hand oils/acidity; can be preserved with wax or clear coat. Online options to blue or green patina using ammonia and light table salt, but needs added clear top coat to preserve patina.The M390 steel takes more of an effort to sharpen, but holds edge longer vs s35vn.
