I previously had two vehicles and used cheaper camera on one and another Alpine on the other. The one I installed the cheap camera's on I wound up have to replace them every few months, I darn near tried every cheap one made and they always quit working after a while, but the one I installed the Alpine on I never had a problem with for the entire time I owned the car. Foolishly I traded in the car and left the camera on it, if I thought ahead I would have removed it before I traded it in, but oh well live and learn. If the camera ever goes out or I have any problems with it I'll update my review but from past experience it seems Alpine cameras are the only ones that are built to last.
