This one has 2-inch openings so not really a slow feeder, but it is HUGE..I can probably fit 2 standard square bales in there with some elbow grease. I have this for my Friesian cross gelding with metabolic (i.e. fatso) issues and i put about about 1 1/2 bales in there and it lasts a couple days. It's super strong, has a very long top cord so you can get creative as to how to hang it. The string that closes the top of the net could use a little modification but all in all for one to two horse I would say it works really well! I did half take out about three flakes per bale just because the bales I have are much widerand I think that it just kind of shortened the length of the net which was no big deal. These foals are about 2- 2 - 1/2 months old and they had no issues with the netting. It slowed the foals and my two broodmares of eating, and they nibbled all day and as you can see, I have no weight issues with my horses.
