Review: a nice safe with extremely quick access - I bought this safe because I wanted quick access to a firearm. I also didn't want to have to remember a combination at 2 in the morning. I also didn't want something simple that my kids could figure out and open. This safe is simple to set-up and operate. There is a button on the inside that memorizes users. Press it, scan your finger twice and that's it. For operation, there is a wake-up button to push, then scan your finger twist the lever and it's that simple. I had it up and running in 5 minutes including install of batteries and tracking the wife down to scan her fingers as well. The safe comes with 4 bolts so you can mount it to the floor if you like. Another cool feature is if you let the safe run out of batteries you can use the battery backup box which plugs into a small inconspicuous hole under the finger print scanner. It also has master keys which I keep in another safe in the basement. As for storage, there is plenty of room for jewelry documents, handguns, whatever...It also has an adjustable shelf.
