I just received my 24 pack, I took a chance based of some of the other reviews & am so happy I did. All 24 swivel good & have grease behind the red dust shield "which is removable btw" The rubber tires seem solid. I am using these 3" casters for a few new small work carts i'm building in my workshop. If you divide the price its less than $2.50 per caster, thats more than half THE PRICE the big box store charges. I find them to be very heavy duty. I don't plan on over loading them anyway. Yes my 24 casters came pre greased , they smell like a new set of car tires (thats a good thing, I like it! I firmly gripped a wheel & slid it on a counter top to see if it made a mark, it did leave a black mark but in my application it doesn't matter, I suppose it would make a difference if someone was to have these on white carpet but even then I don't think it should be a deal breaker. I plan on ordering another 24 pack just to have them in stock. You can never have too many casters! Screw the negative reviews & take a chance like I did with these casters, i'm sure you'll be happy too unless you are a picky nerd!!! ### ⭐ Total Junk ! No good! *by S***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2018* Dont even think of buying this JUNK ! I installed four each on 6 planter pots and the first time i attempted to move the pots the wheel snapped off completely. Separated at the bearing flange connection. I have had these planter pots for 20 years and every 5-6 years I install new casters, which i normally buy at Home Depot. I thought to try these and they literally lasted less than a month. Complete junk. The bearing section, or lack there of, it weak and flimsy. And the diameter of the wheel is too thin to support any weight . Although rated at 250 lbs, it will never support 1/4 that weight. Soon as i attempted to roll the planter, the thin diameter of the wheel buckled under weight and snapped. I contacted the manufacture but they refused to refund my money. Poor customer service and horrible, cheap product. They do not hold the weight they are listed for. We had to buy many extras to fix the rolling set piece we used them for. We had to.spend way to much time replacing wheels that had disintegrated and metal that folded. The rubber is downright terrible.
