Thanks for your question. I guess it depends on which transmitter your using currently. The D5, the Eon Core and Eon steel uses the Suunto Pod and not the normal transmitter.

**Q: Will I receive texts from my iPhone?**
A: Unfortunately, this dive computer does not have that capability. Luckily, you wont need your iPhone when your scuba diving with this amazing computer.
