Mine actually have NO scuff marks (which was nice) - but at least half were pretty clearly discolored and about 25% had some sort of ball mark (permanent ink) on them. I would say the picture in the advertisement is not quite accurate - very few look as good as the ones in that picture. But, you get 24 for the price of 12 new. If playing with a less than perfect ball will distract you - these are NOT for you.
