Even if you love the book with all your heart, it's pretty hard to like or love some characters, not some, I do hate most of the characters. It's a wonder to myself still how can I love the book. May be the way the author did describe things did capture my mind or enchant it. You would love the descriptions than in any other fiction, though it's quite detailed but not a bit boring. I'm wondering what was the author truly thinking while portraying Heathcliff. Gosh!That's the one we love, hate and love again for all the weird reasons and things he had done in the name of love and revenge. And Catherine, she was talking about Heathcliff like 'Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same' and marrying Linton. And the gypsy boy, who loved her madly, took a revenge in a way you even can't dream. I mean it when I said you can't even dream it! The book did take a lot of time from me though the book really worth it. Emily's prose is a masterpiece. She could have written trash and i still would have read her. She just captures you and keeps you in her words. You will be asking for more. I have heard that her sisters works are very similar, so if you like this one, definitely go for others. Brontë family has blue blood in writing. Regarding the book's delivery, it arrived in perfect condition. Fingerprint publications uses translations available in public domains, the reason why they are much cheaper than, say, penguin.
