## Description

Product Description CC BEC Pro (Battery Eliminator Circuit) is a small device that eliminates the need for a receiver battery. It draws voltage from the motor batteries and drops it to a voltage level that is suitable for your receiver and servos. This is required in applications which use high power servos, where the ESC does not have an internal BEC, or the existing BEC is inadequate. The CC BEC Pro is designed to operate at up to 12S LiPo (50.4V) with a 20A* peak servo load. Generally used for 1/5 scale cars or cars utilizing multiple high powered digital servos, lights, winches and other accessories. It is also useful in larger airplanes using 4 or more digital servos. Perfect for 500 size or larger helis. From the Manufacturer Castle Creations eliminator circuit is ideal for use in larger RC cars, electric aircraft, and electric helis 500 size and larger that have high power demands for their radio system. Also works well in larger electric powered RC aircraft and RC crawlers and monster trucks that use high powered servos. Requires: Installing between battery and receiver

Review: Awesome. - This is better than expected. I use it for non-RC applications that require about half the rated capacity of this. I have found it to be incredibly stable under test and in service. It is more stable than a power supply that I could make, and VERY efficient. I use this for an on-body, battery powered device, that uses about 200ma standby and 10a peak. Even at standby there is very little loss (something like 10% or less if I recall... it's been a while). I use it at 5v with 11-16v in. You will need (or at least WANT) a castle link, so just get it at same time. Castle link requires Windows AFAIK.
Review: Powerful and reasonably priced. Measuring only 4V output? Read the review. - This is a fine BEC from a respected American company. It puts out a large amount of current and in my 550-size heli this unit hardly even breaks a sweat. You can set the voltage using the Castle Link. If you buy a Castle speed controller there is usually a coupon for a free one. An important point is that you must disconnect the Link if you are trying to measure the output voltage you have set. If you leave it connected while bench testing you will only measure about 4 volts on the output. This is true no matter what voltage you select. This is not a real problem, just something to be aware of to avoid going around in circles while setting things up. Castle really should mention this in their documentation or their web site.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Csn i ise this woth my teo servos on my 4ws crawler**
A: Um... I think I understand the question. It honestly depends on the servo and the load on it. Get an amp meter and test or find out the stall torque amp draw of your proposed servo. Voltage of battery pack is also relevant. EIR look it up.

**Q: It has 2 leads im using 6channel receiver can i use Y connector? Or i can use only one lead?help me**
A: You can plug 1 lead into battery and y into another channel with servo or just y both battery feeds together but you lose redundancy feature

**Q: Hey guys cansomeone help me my spektrum receiver has only 6 channel and this castle pro bec it comes in 2 leads connector toreceiver can i use only 1**
A: Use a y-harness into any channel (aileron, elevator, rudder) and have one lead for the y go to the cc bec pro. What I do to get around this is just get 7 channel receivers, but yes, you should always plug in both leads.

**Q: Is there any way to program output voltage without CastleLink?**
A: Not to my knowledge. Fortunately, I purchased the CastleLink already for programming three 10A BEC and two ESCs before I bought the CC BEC Pro 20A for my Align 550 DFC Helicopter.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Castle pro bec rock solid!
*by M***O on July 20, 2023*

Put this in my black horse viper xl to run hv servos, and power the retract controller since it had 2 leads. Wired directly to esc 12s power never faultered! Still going strong never gets hot, would recommend this to anyone that needs an adjustable bec( castle link sold separately)
