Essentially the only sound that comes out of them is a beep when you plug them in, and the iPhone does not register that headphones have been inserted as it might if any other wired headphones would. The volume knob doesn’t register that headphones have been plugged in. They also come with an “instruction sheet” that is written in improper grammar and misspellings that details Bluetooth connection and has nothing to do with wired earbuds.
