Review: Fits well on my 08 GMC Acadia good job guys Review: I purchased a K&N FIPK for my AP2 Honda S2000, but decided that I did not want to use the provided K&N filter and stick with the OEM Honda filter. They did not have the 3.5 to 3" coupler/reducer at PepBoys so I ordered it from desertcart. It arrived in a very nice box and included two quality clamps. I cut about an inch from the Honda OEM filter's neck and used the coupler to attach it to the K&N intake tube. It is a quality product and it seems to hold up pretty well so far. I had to adjust the clamps once, after the engine bay was hot and have not had to tighten them since. It gets a little on the soft side but I have not had any problems with it. I use this for the air inlet on my turbo and it's holding up so far. **Q: how long is this? all the ones i find are only 3" long and I need at least 3.5 but 4 would be comfortable.** A: The Spectre 9541 is 3" long. **Q: Are the measurements for the inner (id) or outer (od) of each end?** A: ID **Q: How heat resistant is this material? I will be using it to connnect a parking heater to factory ductwork** A: I believe this is really for automotive airfilter use. The engine bay could really get hot so i think it can withstand a decent amount if heat. I had mine for years and it still looks good.
