This process is believed to be originated in some regions of Asia, like, southern parts of India and some parts of Japan and China. Review: I Use for all my Rice Dishes - I used to make my own Parboiled Rice, but that's just more extra work. This is perfect for all my rice needs. I make Plain White Rice, Fried Rice, Rice Pudding, any Flavored Rice. Anything I want rice in, this works. Not much more I can say about it other than it's cheap, taste good and cooks up perfect. I use One Part Rice to Two Parts Water. Then I put foil on top of the pan and cover it tightly and go by the number of minutes stated on the bag. It comes out perfect every time. From there, I can make Rice Pudding, Fried Rice or whatever I want. I even cook my rice first, before making Paella. I know that's not traditional, but that's how I do it and my Paella cooks in about 1/3 of the time. I recommend this rice and don't think you'll be disappointed. I keep my bag in a glass, air tight container (the same way I keep my dried beans). Thank you for reading my review.

By far my favorite rice. I used to obsess over uncle Ben's but wanted a cheaper alternative. The rice comes out perfectly each time. Ive used in on the stove, in the microwave and in a mini rice cooker. Great quality . I only wish it had a zip seal
