This product provides pharmaceutical grade fish oil, which is recommended to avoid the fish smell or flavor. I don't mind the price, to avoid those issues. I chose to purchase these after reading the reviews, and I am very pleased with my choice. As many have said, there is no fishy smell, taste, or burp after taking these. They do have a pleasant strawberry scent and taste. I definitely recommend these to any pregnant ladies looking for a palatable DHA supplement. As I am supposed to take two prenatal vitamins and two of these each day, I take one of each after breakfast and one of each after dinner, in order to spread the two out and avoid any possible stomach upset.
