The 04 Chevy Silverado originally had Bilstein shocks when I purchased the vehicle 17 years ago. I purchased a 2020 Silverado and this vehicle had Rancho shocks on it, which I liked, so why not try the Rancho shocks on my 04.What I have noticed is the Rancho shocks are not as stiff as the Bilstein, which I find gives it a little more comfortable ride. The o4 Silverado is with my youngest son, as it has gone through my other 3 sons, and myself.
