A fox hunting loop like this shortens the learning curve. Especially once you have narrowed your search, because it sharpens direction-finding angles. The great thing about this 'loop is that the same manufacturer also makes an attenuator for it, allowing you to zero-in on the beacon in question. The loop twists onto the same connector as your flexible antenna mounts to.
