Let's get one thing straight: There is NO venue too big for this amp. At 200 watts, this thing redefines "loud." You can run it in 100 watt mode, though, so you don't always have to play at super low volume settings. The intuitive design makes it a great companion for the stage and studio. If you're ready to take your tone to the next level, you've found your amp. Item Details This Orange Thunderverb 200 is a twin channel, 200 watt A/B amplifier. It sports four 12AX7's in the preamp, four 6550's in the power amp, and a 12AT7 for the reverb and effects loop. There is a clean channel and a crunch channel, both with three stages of gain and easily controllable with the included footswitch. The crunch channel features a new shape control that scoops the mids and decreases the bass and treble when turned up, which will let you dial in everything from vintage rock to metal and everything in between. The attenuator is a great feature for live performances. It's a footswitchable control that lets you boost your volume without affecting your tone, making for smooth musical transitions. You can run this amp in 100 watt or 200 watt mode, which is a great feature that lets you switch between monstrously, bone crushingly loud and bone crushin
