It’s made of thin plastic. I’m looking for a replacement for the metal one I bought in 2018 that definitely protected my iPad bc I dropped it on a tile floor once and the metal case was bent on the corner but zero damage was done to my iPad. The only reason why I need a new one is bc the keyboard battery no longer charges. I wrote to this seller upon setting up a return and they told me that these cases are “usually” made of plastic …. Doesn’t explain why his description isn’t accurate or if he would send a metal replacement. I noticed other buyers have made similar comments.
