I am not sure why some are listing dextrose as an ingredient here. **Q: How was this made with dextrose yet essentially has no carbs or sugar? Isn’t dextrose sugar?** A: Dextrose is a sugar. They are playing with numbers. Each packet contains 0.8 grams of 'stuff'. If it were all dextrose, then a packet would have 0.8 cal and 0.8 g of carbs/sugar. The monk fruit has no sugar or carbs and 0 cal. Unlike monk fruit, dextrose can also cause spikes in glucose levels. Generally speaking, if you are following a low-carb diet and/or are diabetic, it is best to stay away from things with dextrose. (As a side note, my calorie and carbs/sugar amounts came from some of the calorie counting websites.) **Q: Is this the same MF that Walmart sells for $2.45 for 40?** A: Yes, I get this exact Brand at my natural grocers for $3.98 for 40 ct. this price is a rip off here! **Q: What is dextrose exactly?** A: Dextrose is a form of glucose derived from starches.
