And I read it all in 2 days. I'm an experienced options trader, so even though a lot of things in the book are not new to me, I found it informative. Most trading books tend to be written in a dry, dull, academic style, but Carley has her unique, easy-going, conversational style and that makes this book very readable. I was nodding my head in agreement when I was reading the section on synthetic options (pages 235-241) because what she has written is what I actually do in my real trading. If you want to learn about commodities (and futures trading), it's a must read book.

I've had an account with DeCarley for about a year, and I enjoy the emails I get every week with her analysis and market updates. Hence, I bought the book. And I read it all in 2 days. I'm an experienced options trader, so even though a lot of things in the book are not new to me, I found it informative. Most trading books tend to be written in a dry, dull, academic style, but Carley has her unique, easy-going, conversational style and that makes this book very readable. I was nodding my head in agreement when I was reading the section on synthetic options (pages 235-241) because what she has written is what I actually do in my real trading. If you want to learn about commodities (and futures trading), it's a must read book.
