Took only a few minutes. They adhere to the original handles via double-sided tape already in place in the new covers . All you have to do is remove the protective strip from the tape and then press the cover in place. Looked like they would clean up well and appearance was good. The application is where it all fell apart. The part that attaches to the door handle base (not the handle) is not big enough and end up breaking some to get proper coverage. The adhesive is not strong enough; the ones I got to go on blew off after first trip to town. I degreased and cleaned the plastic prior, and made sure it was dry. I used a heat gun once they were stuck on.
