And it’s hell to figure out what works with what because it’s closely guarded, and answers are vague from techs, like the one who answered here. “No” is a good answer when the answer is no. “Any gmax elite happy super wizard battery will work in this tool.” True answer, but doesn’t answer the question. “Will my battery BAF704 work in this tool?” No. No it won’t. If I had time, I’d take a look and check a guess I have. Gmax batteries have a model number that is all numbers. Max batteries have letters and numbers. I do NOT know this is the case, yet. I’ll try to look it up when I get a chance. Then, so long as the listing mentions max or gmax, I’d feel better about making a purchase since I’m already roped into this line. I certainly won’t forget, I got tipped by the inordinate number of 1 star reviews. Almost all of them were over battery compatibility.
