So keep the key in your backpack. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ decent, with flaws *by S***T on October 31, 2017* Their online registration system does not work as advertised (it was actually impossible to find from within the sight, I used a google site specific search for terms from the box to find the page.) The skewers themselves seem ok-ish, in fact I like them overall, except the design for the key mechanism is not precise or tall enough. The key does not sit well in the slots, and is so large and wide that it hits hardware screwed into bosses. This is super inconvenient, and encourages not tightening the skewers all the way. It also wears the key out more quickly, which seems to be made from soft aluminium (smart choice). It looks like they have an actual socket that would be much better to use, but they only sell it to shops. -1 star for a crap key that increases poor installation (and all the harms that come from it.) That said, once on, they seem like they will do the trick. I played around with them a bit and do think they would deter all but the most determined, or well equipped, thieves. I would hate to have to change a tire on the road with these on, and will probably switch back to quick release or a different brand of locking nut before touring. I don't trust the durability of the key, and it is too inconvenient/untrustworthy to use it without removing hardware.
