Since then I've been using these as secondary hearing protection while mowing my yard, under a set of ear muffs. I can listen to music with good fidelity while mowing! I've caught the cord on tree branches and ripped them out of my ears. I forgot them in my pocket and ran them through the washing machine. They still work like new, although the green strain relief nubs long ago came loose and sit at the cords' V.
