I setup warnings within FreeNAS and was getting emails when running scrubs or transferring files. These are 7200 rpm HGST/Hitachi Deskstar NAS drives. Some WD Reds at 5400 rpm were a little cooler, but not much. Room is typically in the 70-75 degree range, sometimes cooler.
