Review: This works with 7340 model with HQ8 heads. Perfectly well. - My 7340 twenty year old shaver needed HQ8 heads . They are discontinued. Philips says this is the replacement as close to the HQ8. On precision needs I don't buy aftermarket. OEM is the way to go so I got this one. Third day now and it is sharper than worn out one, runs smooth in shaver and paying a higher price for a Phillips "boxed and labeled" unopened and sealed box was well worth the extra cost. This is the only Phillips replacement that has the two little protrusions to keep the heads from spinning . I wouldn't have accepted if the box had been opened.

**Q: What is the improvement from HQ8?**
A: my original cutting blades were dull, taking me way to long to shave.  the new heads seemed to perform the same as the original blades did when they were new. I didn't experience an improvement.

**Q: The Phillips website says the HQ8 is now replaced by this SH50 blade. This is more expensive than the HQ8 but how much better quality is it?**
A: You will see he HQ8 vary in price due to discontinued, but the part # is HQ8/52 which the last of the HQ8’s are already HQ8/52. 

There are less negative comments about the newer blade.

**Q: Do the blue clips that hold everything in place come with the replacement blades?**
A: No.  I received just the blades and reused my original blue chips.

**Q: What is the difference between a norelco replacement head sh50 and sh 50/52?**
A: Hello! They are exactly the same shaving heads. The number behind the forward slash refers to the country of sale or the type of packaging.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work just like the original blades

Works fine, just like the original. The price is ridiculous. They cost a third of the price of whole new shaver. $12-15 would be a reasonable price. They recommend replacing them once a year, but unless you're shaving your whole body, you'll get a lot longer than a year out of them. (Edit- packaging says replace every 24 months, not 12 like in pictures and description) I usually replace them every 3 years or so.
