I'm seeing a lot of comments regarding replacement tips being unavailable.** A: There is another iron that is visually similar (differs in color only) & uses 900m series soldering tips. I'll grab some & report back with my findings. **Q: Has the placement tips problem been resolved?** A: Sorry, don’t know, I use a conical tip on almost everything. So far I put that one in and havent had to replace it or swap it. **Q: The ceramic heating element broke. Are replacement elements or handles available? If so , what are the part numbers?** A: I broke my ceramic element as well, I was able to use a replacement from Amazon. I do not have a specific amazon # or p/n, but they are available onsite. As for the pen, again no p/n, but this is very generic in terms of the round connector, just count the pin-outs and try to match from there...Something like "soldering iron replacement pen/handle".
