Once mounted, these are extremely sturdy. However, depending on what diameter of bars that you are mounting these to, and which size rubber fillers you need to use to fit them to those bars, the included bolts they provide to hold the 2 halves of the clamps together may be a little too short to easily thread into the other half of the clamp, especially if you use the included lock washers on the bolts right from the start. For my setup, the bolts seemed to be about 1/8" too short. - Tip: Don't use the lock washers at first. Screw the 2 halves of the clamp together tightly. Then, put a big C-Clamp on top of these clamps to hold them together.
