Can you increase low pressure with this. Any suggestions?** A: Thia is basically a calculator to make hot water available at you faucets. I'm not sure about the shower/faucet arrangement. Mine just slowly moves water to myevery faucet to make hot water available instantly **Q: IS IT 1/2 OR 3/4** A: 1/2 inch....My old one was 3/4" but the supply line was 1/2" so it did not matter really. This was a replacement for an older model that burned up due to no water flow (I spoke with Taco tech support and they’re lubricated by the water). A plumber said it was a junky pump and they were going to put in a better one at the cost of $1100, hence my learning to sweat copper joints. I researched the pump and everywhere that reviewed the pump said it’s one of the best. I wouldn’t have had to replace it had I remembered to unplug it. I highly recommend this pump. Would definitely recommend to others. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars 006-BC4 appears to be drop in replacement for 006-B3 *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2017* Purchased a house that had a solar water heater that had a 006-B3 installed that was not working. Went through much trouble shooting and when taking it apart it looked like the windings were toast. Ohmed out the windings and they were infact fried. Looked everywhere and could not find a replacement 006-B3 unit or motor assembly for a 006-B3. The pump is mounted in such a way that there is no way I could ever replace the entire unit, I just needed the motor assembly. Looked up the specs of the next unit up which was the 006-BC4 and it appeared that the dimensions were the same so went out on a limb and purchased one. And wouldn't you know it, bolt/screw pattern was exactly the same!! The 006-B3 and 006-BC4 appear to be the same unit with very minor changes. I had to use the original long "bolts" as they had a tighter thread than what the BC4 has and I had to use the original o-ring as the BC4 uses a thinner O-ring (these two things only effect the part of the unit where the plumbing hooks up and has nothing to do with the motor assembly).
