I have a couple UV flashlights at this point, this one is DOA. Maybe I got a lemon, I don't know. The beam was weak at making stuff glow, so I inspected closer shining it on paper near the light. It would dim and then turn off completely just holding it for a few seconds. I suspect something is up with the soldering joints in there or something similar. Probably I will try to take it apart and see if I can fix it, but out of the pack it didn't work. It did come with a neat little battery charger and a battery that both seem to work fine, but the light itself is a dud. Wishing other's better luck with theirs but they could probably QC these a little better. Update before this posts... for those with the skill. I took apart the button after testing it to deem it the culprit. I put a little solder joint between the spring and battery contact cup, reassembled, and it's working like a champ now. Not updating the ranking because this should never be a problem.
