The sound signature of these is like a V. You can really hear the highs with these more-so than I had anticipated. The mids are decent as well, though for $70, despite being nothing to scold at, it's nothing to really praise, either. Detailed bass. The bass isn't like the V-Moda IEMs or iBeats I've owned before. The bass is punchy and actually allows you to hear the mids and highs a lot better, though some of it still bleeds out into the mid range, but nothing I can really complain about for how immersive yet accurate the bass is.-Build quality: It's very light-weight despite being pretty darn durable. I dropped a textbook on them and no damage whatsoever was done. The cord is also nice; smooth rubber makes it resistant to getting tangled all the time.-Design: I really liked the 9mm design. It was originally what attracted my attention. I got the black ones and they're a nice metallic dull color.The bad:-In the details it was supposed to come with 3 sets of red eartips and 3 sets of black. The case included only the black ones. This is just a small annoyance. The eartips go in your ear and will never be seen by you or anyone else while you're using them so it doesn't really matter what color they are since the material and size are the same. I'm not going to hold them accountable; this is more for letting others know the updated specifications of the item.-Bass may be a little overpowering for genres that are not already bass-oriented. To fix this, you can just mess with your EQ settings a bit and it'll be fine.Nothing extraordinary:-Comfort: It fits well enough, better than conventional earbuds by far, but that's to be expected from any pair of earbuds $50+.-Mic: I hope you didn't buy these for the mic. I sure didn't. But I went ahead and tried the audio on it anyway. It's mediocre at best and annoying to use at worst. I would just use it as a pause and play button. (I plugged it into an iPhone and pushing the button toggled the music on and off) ### ⭐⭐⭐ It's ok *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2013* I have to say i had really high hopes for this product read all reviews and i thought maybe people were being over critical but having just recieved the headphones and lisented to songs of a few gernes, my conclusion was they sound wonderful for hip hop, tech (house and dubstep) for due to the fact that the treble is so high it hurts my ears when i listen to rock which is a bummer. My other very dissapointing aspect to the headphones was that the mic bearly works properly and the button to answer the phone also doesnt work at all so overall my high hopes were dashed. They sound good when they are completely in your ear and provide pretty decent base but they pop out easily and just kinda sit in your outer ear without falling out. I am very light on my feet and even at a slow jog they do this.
